Sibling jealousy is very common and the ones on this thread pretending otherwise are simply being disingenuous. So what you observed is likely real, OP.

These responses are crazy. I can’t help but think they hit too close to home for jealous people.
My siblings are very jealous of me. I don’t know how common sibling jealousy is in adulthood. In my case, I think my sister has an amazing and beautiful place near a great city- sometimes I think it would be really cool to switch places for a weekend but I don’t feel jealous or want her life or home instead of mine. I like her life for her and my life for me, I think we both feel this way.
Is it possible you could be reading too much into the situation?
