Mine go to Winaukee which is for boys and love it. Theres also its girl sister camp robindel. For co ed people we know like cobbosee. Ours go for 4 weeks. Really trying to find the sort of place where kids return year after year. But not too bougie. Country club vibes just feels wrong for summer camp.
They'll teach your kids to sail if they want. And honestly most of the Maine camps are not bougie. The parents are usually very rich but the facilities are Spartan.
