At Walter Johnson it works this way. Students have to take Journalism first and can then take The Pitch class.


Isn't it better if offered as an EC?? If kid wants to work on the paper every year, they miss out on taking other type of classes.

At my public high school in another state 30 years ago, we took newspaper for credit and got journalism training.

Actually my original post was right. The Kennedy High School with a student newspaper called the Word is John F. Kennedy High School in LAUSD.
