How can you compare playing with blocks to high school. I say either (1) there is a lot of brainwashing, and the parents are in fact all there because they perceive the other parents to be high status and therefore in-the-know, or (2) Ncrc is keeping its PR firm busy!! Or maybe both. This preschool was the worst experience we ever had - our kids learned nothing, were babied in a precious way, played all day, came home broken (when we then had to teach them handwriting etc.). And correct, there were so many applications for so few spots, that the staff held the power and made sure you felt that if you complained. Plus no one actually complains because they are too focused on getting a good exit report for kindergarten. Perhaps the fake smiles and inability to ask questions are why what happened was able to go undetected. Please don’t confuse popularity with substance (not that it is popular anymore). This is how bubbles are created - people buying because they see other people buying! And we all know what happened to this bubble…..
So you have no experience with the school?
I'm sorry it bothers you, but, yeah, NCRC was fabulous for my kids. They loved, my spouse and I loved their experience there and ours.
It's a great school.
