I tried to do a nursing degree post grad, and they wouldn’t take credits more than 10years. As far as I could tell that was across the board for rn programs.

It depends on the course and the program. For example, if you're trying to get into a nursing program English credits from 20 years ago will likely be accepted Biology credits probably not. You'll need to look into your specific program.

Most universities will take English and math courses from years ago. My sibling is graduating and they accepted these classes from 15 years go.

Let thrm know you are looking around for a college that lets ypu keep the most credits toward the required 120 or the required degree. Even if they cone in as elective credit, that might be ok for you depending on how many you have.

It was 7 for grad credits in my grad school.

I returned to college about 10 years after leaving college, but different college. There were some conversions involved in my credits but I don't think I lost any. When I returned everything I took was in my major (math) or closely related (com sci) so that was all very current when I applied to grad school.

Months? I’ve used credits after years.
