I delivered via c-section and my kid was at another hospital. Once I was discharged, I spent the first night at home. DH stayed with baby 24/7 until I was discharged. After that we alternated who stayed each night so at least one of us could sleep at home instead of in the chair. The night before baby had surgery we both spent the night.

Good luck, it is hard but we are fortunate we had time off from work and could afford to uber back and forth. Some babies had no family there for days at a time, it was so sad.

SFR, which this study is advocating for, is single family rooms.

Ok that’s good. But I still don’t think moms should be pressured to exhaust themselves.
