For one, taking in the waist of kids pants is not worth the time or effort. Second, it isn’t a matter of the waist being too big, this is problem of no butt.

I can’t tell by your post if your daughter is overweight or if she’s skinny and the pants fall off. Either way, she’s way too old to be showing her private parts to her family.
These are the exact situations where she need her mom to step in. Everyone is judging you for leaving her so exposed and daily to protect her. Nobody thinks it’s cute.
This. I can’t tell if it’s a skinny or fat problem but either way the clothes don’t fit and therefore can’t be worn without something underneath that stays in place.

When my daughters were little and they wanted to wear dresses on the playground I didn’t police where they could play or restrict their clothes. I simply said that dresses needed bicycle shorts underneath.
