Its a bit late now, but I made "butter tofu" instead of butter chicken last week and it was super yummy. I just used a jar of sauce. Cubed up the tofu, pan fried for a few mins, dump the jar in, simmer a little. Make some rice, served with sliced green onions and cilantro.

I make a stir fry with tofu. My secret is I cube and bake the tofu first and it keeps it more cohesive and helps it absorb the sauce better.

I'd rather go hungry than eat a turkey.

Right!
So many turkeys suffered an awful life/death for us to eat them. I’ll take the cruelty free tofu.

1 block is only enough for two people. Maybe air fry in strips and make spring rolls? Or cut raw into strips and make sushi with shredded carrots, cucumber strips, avocado if you have it. Or make miso soup and float cubes of tofu in it.
I hope it’s not silken.

It seems likely this family is planning an American Thanksgiving meal today, not a Far Eastern meal. So, following Far Eastern patterns would be very odd.

My only point was it sounded "odd" to me (no judgement intended). I don't really care what OP does with her tofu. Enjoy anyway makes you happy.

If you posted asking for suggestions on traditional Far East Asian meals associated with holidays, and I posted that your menu was odd, would that feel OK? Why is the opposite OK?

I think you are overreacting to a tofu subject. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Ok?

Lots of us love tofu.
