K-8, off all week. Took advantage of it to fly to Florida to see the grandparents on Sunday and returned home Friday.

I would hate virtual. Just be in school or don't.

Yes! Enough with that failed experiment. I hope there aren’t elementary schools still trying that stunt.

Which worked better?

Preference for out entire week. It keeps life simpler.

I didn’t know virtual was still a thing.

Same! I guess it's a way to protect academic instruction time while still allowing flexibility on high-absence holiday weeks.

Is it mostly high schools that are doing virtual options?

School 1: K-8, in person M-T
School 2: HS, asynchronous virtual M-T

Personally I hate the virtual school days. Just have school or don't. My kid is terrible with the asynchronous days though.

In person Mon and Tues (k-12, all grades).

Extra time off would have been nice, but having class time is good too. DC hates online classes so thankfully they don’t do that. That would be the only really negative option.
