You forgot sex. Not just at the sleepover but when they sneak out or sneak others in. Sneaking out and driving or meeting up with others driving was our biggie.

I’ve posted this before but in HS, I went on “sleepovers” because it was the house we crashed at. It was the parents that were never home or the ones that were oblivious and had no rules so we could come and go. The party house.

Your kid is just getting into sleepovers in high school? Peak sleepover time is the last few years of elementary.

Unless I had other guests I wouldnt say no. Whats the big deal? They are in high school and entertain themselves.

I usually say yes unless I have a good reason to say no. My first response is usually no but as a parent I dont want my kid always associating me with no and negativity.

Yes if we know the parents / family
Yes if the kids are good guests

Pretty much all of my best memories from high school involve sleeping over and being at my friends houses overnight

OP, I think it's fine for one night.

I hate sleepovers. I wish I had taken the hardline of no sleepovers ever. I ended them in high school because of antics and kids having irresponsible parentd
