Contact labcorp and demand further info on how/why test was ordered? Is this something expensive you are paying for out of pocket?

Sounds like OP already addressed it with doctor’s admin and they are not in agreement and now needs a third party to mediate.

It sound like the lab charged you wrong snd ran an incorrect test? Not sure why this is your doctors fault?
