Reality is that the social aspect is hard.

We deeply regret all girls for MS. It was awful. Girls matured and there was a big enough influx of new students for HS, but grades 6-8 were rough! I really think this comes down to 1. What percentage of the class is new vs returning in MS and HS, 2. Is your DD really into sports and really outgoing, 3. Make up of the class—very much a roll the dice from year to year, and 4. What the school does to help fold in new students in each division.
