I had a guy who parked in my driveway in a van and I saw it was auto detailing and just assumed it was ordered by my daughter who lives in an over-the garage apartment but who should still be at work. They had the address wrong.
But the guy was so nice and professional but clearly freaked out at coming to the wrong address. He got all tensed up when I asked where he was from and I just had to say NO NO NO it’s okay I am with you I speak some Spanish and a little Portuguese and you are welcome at my home and I would like your business.
It’s only cards and a cell phone but I scheduled an appointment for tomorrow. I don’t even necessarily need it but I’m definitely not sending my car for detailing to the place owned by the guy who lives on Martha’s Vineyard anymore.

lol. Totally unreasonable to assume from this that he’s an illegal immigrant.
By doubling down, you made my point. You assumed again he was illegal. He could have easily been freaking out for being mistaken as illegal. Thats the problem. People jump to “illegal” based on appearances.
No mention at all was made about his appearance; only his behavior.
