Ha! Here is the key point: if he is indeed going to outgrow it soon - better not waste 1K and just buy something smaller for a fraction of the cost.
BUT there is a subset of guys (well, maybe some girls, too) who really appreciate Lego AND Star Wars who NEVER outgrow it.
