My kid has a 36 ACT and over 4.0 weighted GPA and hasn't heard anything.

Older sibling got $15K/year with a 1490, but higher GPA.

Yes my kid got one this week. Bet your kid’s is coming soon as well. Hang tight.

A question for those who received merit. DC hasn’t received any merit email despite being accepted over a month ago. They have been bombarded with emails like twice a week since their acceptance notice(they got accepted to Swanson school of engineering). Does that mean they won’t get any merit, annd instead they get bombarbed with so many email saying we should commit to Pitt. others it seems have gotten merit much closer to their acceptance letter.

Based on 2 years ago, the financial/merit review is on a different schedule than admissions. It is done in batches. My son heard a month later. It seems merit is highly SAT driven (although TO gets you out of that box). And it is best to apply early to get the larger awards.
