We just got back from Rehoboth. The weather was beautiful on Saturday and the beach was crowded. Saturday evening we went to a wonderful restaurant which was crowded. After the restaurant we walked down the main strip towards the boardwalk and stopped to get ice cream then bought some shoes from a running store. It was by no means summer crowds but it was way more crowded than I expected. Sun morning we woke up and it was a ghost town. I guess most people had either checked out or were packing to check out.

I personally love the beach in the off season because I do not like large summer crowds. It's very romantic and peaceful and calm in November.

DP. Probably some wind, probably some rain.

But if you are wanting to wear a jacket while walking on a beach, Delaware in November is a excellent choice. Caribbean beaches are not jacket weather in November.

It’s really not. We go every year. It tends to be a little warmer than DC proper, and we usually have lovely sunny weather. Also many of the restaurants have off season specials, a lot of mini golf still open. It’s not crowded but also not dead. And a lot of festive stuff, Turkey Trots, Christmas tree lighting and sing along in Rehoboth downtown Friday after Thanksgiving.

Bring layers. Bring a waterproof coat. Expect wind.
