I love both pairs, and think the 1st is the best.

They would look great with long, dark jeans.

The second pair gives me Wednesday Adams vibes, so I'd style with a dress and tights.

Why would you want to. Unless you are a JCrew model getting paid to wear them, I see know reason to ever put either pair on.

If I wear jeans I wear mules, boots or althletic shoes. Depends on where I’m going though.

The first pair looks like you went to your first communion, and then we teleported to the future.

I’m in my 40s. I like the second pair a lot more than the first. I think we’re too old for tie up dress shoes. I have no idea how to wear them with pants, though. But definitely Mary Janes over whatever is going on in the first link.

I don't like the first pair. They are too precious. And patent leather is uncomfortable. The second pair is fine, but I would not wear them with jeans. I think they are meant to be worn with a midi skirt or a dress. The point of those shoes is to show them off, and they'll get lost with pants. I agree with posters who recommend skinny, ankle-length jeans if you really want the second pair, but I'm not a fan of that style. If you'd like something with a bit of flair, I recommend a cool pair of ankle boots, maybe in pony suede or a non-traditional color.

I am typically a fan of crazy aunt vibe, but i hate both of these shoes. Jeans or otherwise.
