seriously?! Never experienced auto correct errors? They were just being playful.
I’m a liberal from DMV, but I don’t get the UF hate. It’s obviously about politics, but 43% voted for Kamala Harris. That’s a lot of people considering the population of Fl. Alachua county is blue. Whenever folks attack Fl due to politics, they’re basically disrespecting folks that have to live through stupidity even though they haven’t voted for it.

Sorry wish I could be more specific. Child wouldn't appreciate it if I spilled too many details. Tulane looks great in many ways, but I resent the ED part of it, considering how expensive it is. I can't see committing without question without some idea about finances. UF is obviously highly ranked, but concerned about the size, having to do online classes etc.

You would know the finances exactly via the NPC. I’m not sure how many more times it needs to be explained.

For the third time wanker I was posting from my phone using Swype and it populated with the wrong form of your. I didn't realize people debating in a Tulane vs UF thread were such pedantic grammar geeks. I would've expected it in one of the striver threads but not here.

Only when the ranking is based on Pell Grants. They have the exact same USNWR Peer Assessment Score (3.7). Other schools see them as total equals.

Can their grads spell "you're?"

It was autocorrect numb nuts.

Calling everyone loser and numb nuts is not really a recommendation for what appears to be your alma matter. I wish there was some college ranking list that ranked schools based on the percentage of graduates who use terms like “numb nuts.” That would be a useful way to sort school options.

One is a mid sized private with a ton of personal attention. The other is a massive state school with a lot of online classes. Two very different options

These schools are nothing alike. Visit both. I would think your kid has a clear preference.

Not sure, but the OP may be using the Hillel Guide To Colleges and focusing on the schools with the highest percentage of Jewish students (Tulane) versus the highest number of Jewish students (U Florida). Might be a concern for safety & shared values & similar culture of the individual students.

New Orleans is fun, but dangerous. New Orleans finished last (#182) behind Memphis (#181) on a recent ranking of 182 US cities for safety.
