Agree about a doctor/urgent care, but also put aquaphor on at night. You don’t need to wear socks - as long as you’re in bed for the night and not walking around.

The only thing that helps me prevent cracked heels is to ensure that everyday after my shower I apply foot cream. I can’t skip even one day. I also wear indoor only Skechers slip on sneakers at home on my hardwood and tile floors. I also try to get a pedicure once every 6 weeks. I used to have such deep painful cracks they would bleed.
