I grew up in Bethesda and Chevy Chase, but we have loved raising our kids in Kensington because of these things.

Not on your list but look at the area around Bells Mill ES in Potomac -- very walkable and many go to Georgetown Hill Early School next door for preschool.

Some of Kensington goes to Oakland Terrace which is a partial immersion elementary school, half day in Spanish and half in English. The middle school and high school aren’t as “good” as the TOK school but the immersion thing is pretty appealing. Many Kensington Heights go to public school and everyone goes to the local pool.

My sister lives in the Burning Tree-Pyle-Whitman neighborhood and loved the ES, but a fair number of kids do go to private school. We are happy in Rockville (Wootton) and almost everyone goes to the publics.

If you are talking about the town of Chevy Chase, many do not send their kids to Rosemary Hills. They do private, then CCES. Or just private K-8.

Many for to Rosemary Hills, but not all.
