I get "how are u" most but a couple of times I got "I'm visiting [insert my city], will you be around?" And "is this [insert mine or someone else's name]"
I'm fairly sure a friend or relative will say who they are

We all get these random texts, nobody gets suspicious of their spouses, unless they are already suspicious of them. .

I get spam texts all the time but never about a cute dog.

If he's got a mental or physical illness such that he needs "heavy" meds and cannot perform with you, then it's HIGHLY unlikely that he would be successful with someone else.

But your stalking and prying are signs that your attitude is problematic as well, so perhaps you need to deal with that. Maybe you should get a divorce? Open up the marriage? Your behavior shows that the current situation is not working for you. You owe it to both of you to discuss options at this point.

I got 3 of those this week. But my husband doesn't go through my phone or micromanage my communication or suspect I am up to no good. Sounds like a pretty bad relationship dynamic you have going.

Spam

I get spam like that frequently. In the beginning I responded because I thought someone had texted me by accident. Invariably that would turn into the person trying to engage me in conversation and sometimes sending me a pic of a young Asian woman. It’s the start of a scam.

I probably get more of them because I responded a few times before I realized what was going on. Same thing might have happened to your dh.
