HM policy is they do not give any feedback to consultants or PDs. Expect to hear nothing until February re: HM

are you saying your child was observed amongst siblings? I would have thought they put siblings in the same play group together
No, more of an extrapolation based on my observation during tours, play group, etc....

Exactly! I think they assume it would help separation anxiety. Moving forward I’ll have nanny do those because it was just not helpful having me in the room.
I felt siblings had a big advantage as many were familiar with the building and staff.

Anyway, I also had no feedback from playgroup for 3s. Kiddo didn’t want to engage with any of the teachers. Just kept wanting to leave and threw a temper tantrum. I was so embarrassed I contemplated leaving. Longest 30minutes ever! I have no doubt we will not be getting admission there.
In our playgroup, some of the kids could not separate with the parents in the room. I felt like maybe it would have worked better if the parents were just outside of the room and out of sight.

There are different levels of coaching (reviewing and editing the application, preparing for the interview, list of target schools, etc...). There is an art to finding the right fit for each child.
