I’ve known a number of very high ranking folks take side gigs on weekends. One guy was a golf course ranger and cart manager on weekends. During the week, he was a COO at a very large manufacturing company. This was on the days before we were married to cell phones. Some folks coach sports teams as well. Knew a guy who was a big shot in the defense industry and Deejayed weddings on weekends for years.
Er, in the days before dads were expected to be present for their kids. I'd be pissed if DH thought he could go work at a golf course all Saturday instead of doing family stuff.
