I'm about halfway through it. I've had to take breaks because it's so sad. She was let down by almost every single adult when she was a child. Gut wrenching.

Just buy the book. I’m sure her kids could use the money.

This is what I will do. I think it's going to be one of those books that you can't forget the details once you read them. As a sx assault survivor, as I think most Gen X women are, I think it's important to honor her and buy to book to say, I believe you."

I hadn't thought of it this way. Of course she's gone now. Breaks my heart. Maybe I'll buy it and not read it. It's a story I don't need to read, unfortunately as there is little in there that I don't already know (as I'm sure is the case for many of us).

She also named Bill Richardson.

I also resisted reading it, but am nearly finished it. I also wanted her to identify the men, but she could not ir risk defamation suits. She had to stipulate in one suit brought against her by a prominent US constitutional lawyer. I think she could talk about Prince Andrew because she brought a civil suit against him and it was public record.

I still do not understand why her father and his friend who repeatedly raped her from age 7 are not being charged.
