My Friends was a DNF for me too.

Bachman’s books have been in my top 5 for the year, but I couldn’t get through this one either.

It's one where you want a sequel but don't want it. If they left Ryland Grace and only focused on what transpired on earth, I'd read it. But Ryland's ending was perfect and so Andy Weir I don't want it touched. Make sense?

All of Naomi Novak books, I keep thinking about the characters and what could be happening to them after the book ends.

She spins off of fairytales that we know but in a very interesting and darker way. So of course it's not just happy ending at the end. There could me more. It's intriguing.

Summer Sisters

A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet and The Goblin Emperor. Such human, fallible, good characters in such good stories.

Covenant of Water. I could live there -

Most recently, Demon Copperhead. I wanted to know what happened to him for the rest of his life.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. The characters were so charming. I didn't want to leave them.
