Dogs are allowed at pet store and Home Depot but op needs to clean it up and leave dog home if they cannot figure this out.

Walk your dog and have them go potty before going out but if they have this behavior they stay at home.

That's why people allow their pets to do this shamelessly, but why would a place of business allow it? I'm guessing there is data that customers who bring their dogs spend more and that profit outweighs the other customers who are annoyed.

This is why dogs should not be in stores.

I’m sorry were NOT life threatening but severe.

A few years ago a neighbor adopted a pit bull from a shelter and despite knowing it was skittish brought it into Ms Pixie’s anyway. At one point in felt cornered in a tight space and attacked another customer. The injuries were life threatening but were severe. They ended up having to put the dog down and I was furious. It was 100 percent the owner’s fault—not the dog’s. He basically got his dog killed through his own negligence. I’m still pissed.

Dogs don't belong in stores. Not even your stupid emotional support fluff ball.

KEEP YOUR DOGS OUT OF STORES, unless you have an need an actual service dog (who probably does not mark indoor stores!)


I was behind a dog in the Bethesda Strosniders and watched it pause, then take a big cr*p on the floor. Man with the dog paused a second or two, looked down and kept on walking. Only when another customer loudly called him out on it did he pretend to just notice and doubled-back to pick up. What a jerk.

This can’t be true. You didn’t stop taking him to stores after the first time? I love dogs but you suck.

Please don't take your untrained dog into public spaces. No, it isn't 'normal' for you to allow that. Most dogs will 'mark' outdoors, but once trained will refrain from doing so indoors. Even in a pet store where dogs are encouraged to accompany their owners, urinating indoors is considered to be bad form.
