There is not grade inflation - students need to work hard for As. In one class, DS was .13% from an A and the teacher didn’t round up. But, teachers are helpful and supportive and want the boys to succeed. Teachers are accessible before and after school and boys are encouraged to seek them out. Many teachers have optional review sessions before tests and encourage students to attend. One of DS’s teachers, for example, brought donuts to every early morning review session to encourage attendance. But, they will get the grades they earn and I personally think that is good preparation for college and life in general.

.
Honors classes get a 0.5 bump and AP classes get a 1.0 bump to the letter grades in the GPA

No inflation. Every A was hard earned in our experience. Have a lot of gratitude for the sports mandatory study hall before practice every day and how often teachers have office hours to lend a helping hand. A really supportive and safe place to learn for our sons.
