Revolutionary Road is his most well-known and probably best novel.
"Easter Parade" by Richard Yates is also good and possibly more divorce themed.
Another book from the 1970s is "Three Women at the Water's Edge" by Nancy Thayer. It's definitely 'women's fiction' but explores a young pregnant mother going through divorce and also her mother, who's come out the other end of a divorce she chose. Some of it is day to day, but I liked it.
