IKEA toftbo bathmats are perfection. No need to look further.

YES, this - we have one next to the kitchen sink and once it's stained you can't clean it. We tried soaking in dish soap, doing a baking soda paste, bleach, nothing works because stains sink in.

I ended up tossing mine because it looked terrible and couldn't be cleaned.
I have a Teak one now. Basically you step on it and water drips through to be cleaned later. Useless but it looks soooo pretty.
