Isn't it obvious the area would have stores? But protests? People do not know that unless you say it.


Every place has protests. Every place. If they happened every week that would be one thing…but happening on a day when there were literally hundreds of protests across the country, isn’t noteworthy.

I think a majority do. Mine were at BCC and I am pretty sure that 2/3rds of the neighborhood kids went there.


Except, BCC covers Bethesda, CC and what I would consider Western Silver Spring (though I don't know if the parts West of Grubb Road, but call it East of Brookfield Rd are considered Silver Spring or CC or what). This thread is specifically about CC, MD.

I lived in CC when my kids were little. I absolutely loved Rosemary Hills. The idea of a primary school that only goes to 2nd grade was amazing.

I ultimately moved to DC b/c I am black and got tired of people asking me if I was the nanny. There is a little more diversity now, but not much.
