Here's the crazier thing: Republican are trying to rename things after their pet causes, but instead of doing it as an honorable memorial that everyone can get behind, each of them is tagged to an "or else X funding will be withheld/denied" etc. It is always a threatened abuse of power -- what a terrible way to memorialize anyone or anything.

I think 82nd or 101st should be named after him. Specially after they are deployed to crack heads in US cities. It would be an appropriate in terms of the ideas he stood for.

I think Dulles Airport would be a better candidate for renaming than “H” street.
