NP - the point is, this Trump term has changed the environment in the country. He has emboldened Rs and Rs have shown they will follow Trump.
A vote for Miyares means VA will have *no* check on Trump and *zero* pushback to any shenanigans in the 2026 Conressional elections. Voting for AG in VA, especially this year, is important and consequential, both on a state and a national level.
With Democratic senators and congressmen at the national level, and control of the state legislature, that seems like extreme hyperbole.

Totally bonkers to me that anyone in VA would vote for a republican. Trump has made it clear he is and will continue to go after blue areas he views as his enemies. Northern VA is taking enormous economic hits. The entire state relies on tax revenues from NoVa. He just announced more RIFs. The attacks on Northern VA have ramifications for the entire state. Choosing leadership that supports Trump’s agenda is so self-destructive.
