I'm a 6 footer and often have had short partners, but I like tall women too. The sexual dynamics are definitely different, and I tend to be more gentle with smaller women, but both are awesome. I like thin women of all heights. I sometimes like short chubby women but tall chubby women don't usually do it for me.

There are a few taller women on this site hell bent on proving that tall guys have a fetish for shorter women. It's disgusting and really tells of who they are.

OP openly admits to having a preference to date guys taller than her, yet no one else is allowed one (not that most people go out dating people solely based on how tall they are). Apparently, shorter women OWE it to her to date shorter guys so that she can have the tall guys for herself. She ignores the fact that it's totally her attributes that prevent her from dating, and not shorter women.

I don’t see men considering height much at all- with the exception of preferring women who are at least a little shorter than they are themselves.

A few may care more about future kids’ heights and choose a woman who is average height or taller. But most don’t really think that way.

My boyfriend is 6'3 and I am 5'2. He dated plenty of taller women (even as tall as 6'1) in the past. He said that it was much easier to get a date with a tall woman because they aren't as picky and would often gladly accept a date with someone taller. I asked him once if he had a preference and he said that he didn't.

With my amendment, this is true.

I'm 5'4", so not super short, but I'm slim and was especially tiny in my 20s. I dated guys of all heights. Some of them were VERY into how little I was. At first it was kind of flattering, it's nice to be physically pleasing to your partner. But it started to bother me. These guys seemed to get off on being much bigger and stronger than me. Like my relative weakness turned them on. That's messed up.

It become a dealbreaker for me. I didn't want to be doted on like a child, I wanted a man who would see me as his equal, irrespective of our relative size. I wound up marrying a man who is 5'11" and could care less, and has never once made a big thing out of me being shorter or smaller than him.

I find this kind of language regressive and kind of gross from men.


I am a very short woman and have never experienced anything even remotely similar. I've dated short guys and I've dated tall guys. Perhaps, like OP, you're just too dumb to date smart guys of every height.

There is no argument no matter how she writes it out. The whole premise that short women are taking the tall men she would like to date and that we should stick with short guys so that OP has a bigger pool to choose from is moronic.

Anyone who chooses a partner to spend their life with and raise a family based solely on how tall their children might be, is a moron of gigantic proportions.

as a women who is 4.11 I can tell you with 100% certainty that when I was picking my life partner, OP's height and her inability to find a mate because she is tall (though come on, who'd want to be with this dumb ass) played no role in my decision making.

No this is not statistically true statement. It's just there are a lot of short women (and men) in the US. But on average people marry someone in their lane, in all aspects
