How was yours discovered?
Screening mammogram w tomography at WRA Fairfax.
Brought me in for ultrasound, radiologist was virtually certain. We cried together.
Needle biopsy main use was to type the cancer for surgeon and put in marker clip. 4mm invasive ductile.
I had an MRI to map the clip and prepare surgical plan. Another one day of surgery at hospital to put wire in to guide surgeon to marker. Yucky but oh well.

I had genetic testing done last year since there has been some breast cancer in my family but it showed I don’t have any genetic markers for BC and I believe my score was around 12-13.
PP here - there was no BC in my family when I was diagnosed, but I did have dense breast tissue.
