We had vaccine mandates until very recently so the majority of school dcs are absolutely vaccinated and it's not a concern. If you mean flu/covid, that's a crap shoot anyway.

Yes, it's uneducated.

First - changing a policy that eliminates vaccines mandates in schools doesn't magically mean that the population becomes unvaccinated, or that cases are "exploding." It might mean that slightly fewer people vaccinate their children in the future.

Next, many, many people in the US are already potentially unvaccinated - international travelers, all of the people who sneak in across the border, etc.

Finally, unless the person is immunocompromised, in cancer treatment, etc., their own vaccine status is what they need to worry about. If they are immunocompromised, travel probably isn't wise, no matter where they want to go.

Mid 50s and my titers for MMR and TDP show that I'm still immune, so if you were vaccinated as a kid, there's a good chance you are fine to go to FL
