The issue is that swimcloud is great for recruiting and understanding how you will be looked at. The other sites make it a lot easier to know if you made cuts because you can plug your name in for meets.
This rule is hurting the kids who are serious swimmers and making things more opaque when swim should not be.

Virginia Swimming posted that their BoD voted to only post PDFs. I wonder is this is a larger push from USA Swimming to no longer share the meet result files. PVS hasn't published BoD meeting minutes since June so it's hard to tell why on the PVS side.
This would ruin swimcloud (incredibly useful for college) and all of the sites. It would made USA swimming the only game in town and their site is trash.
