Not as had as you’d think. While it’s true that most of the colleges that have crew teams also have a lot of students who enjoy screaming at white males in uniforms, few of them can fit into the boats which crew teams use.

Very hard, Coxswains are typically not given recruiting support. There is a long thread on CC about this.
I know a naval academy coxswain who received support.

Seriously? According to CDC, the average weight of women in the U.S. is 171+ lbs.

Are you serious? Just because there are a bunch of overeating fat, obese people in this country? There are plenty of skiny, petite women as well and no, many don't have eating disorders.

If you’re wanting general recruitment advice (for athletes not rowing specific), there’s a FB group College Recruitment Advice for Parents of High Schoolers.
If your coach can’t point you towards whatever resources you need, maybe check there.
Also, as a former D1 rower, typically it was the rowers that got recruited & any scholarships. The one cox I knew of at our school that did, was a walk on, had lots of high school experience, & was really good & even then it was more of a token of appreciation vs making a dent in her tuition bill. YMMV
She is enjoying the sport and wants to continue on a D1 team. A scholarship isn't a requirement for us, as much as having an opportunity to get a spot on the team via the recruitment process.
