Subject: Competitive business clubs
My kid at an Ivy couldn’t get into one. We knew it’s who you know so kind of assumed she would not get in. I’ve heard that sometimes banks recruit directly through the clubs. Not worried though. I really would prefer my daughter to do something other than IB anyway.

Also...a business school may have a Quant club which is hugely popular, but you have to be a Math/STEM major. They aren't actually seriously considering finance/business majors, so don't waste your time.
Correct, can confirm when I was a math major at Michigan the big quant firms always gave the top math students interview slots.
