Nah he dresses like a professor. Clothing is an afterthought. Footwear is fine and doesn't need attention. I have no complaints.

Yes we do put some effort to stay clean and look presentable but neither is overly focused on impressing anyone with wealth and style. That seems too shallow and frankly stupid to us for ourselves. We don't mind what others do as everyone gas to come over their insecurities somehow, if it helps them then good for them.

Not really. He dresses for comfort. His ex wife dressed him all the time and he didn’t like it. I do not dress well and he doesn’t care.

He's a lawyer and hes good at mixing and matching biz casual (jeans, sweaters, chinos, button ups, polo, nice shoes) and looks great in his suits. I think the area he struggles is truly casual. Khakis and a band tee are not it, my man. So I've veen having success introducing shackets, Henleys, nicer solid tees, etc.
I try to put effort in to myself everyday and he appreciates it.

Mine knows how to dress when it's expected of him - he went to Prep school and did cotillion and all that. But left to his own devices he'll show up in a raggedy t-shirt and bike shorts and has to be told to go home and change. It's annoying. I'm pretty chill about my own attire, though - I'll wear athleisure if I can get away with it.

Yes, he likes style and if we go to a nice restaurant, especially when on vacation, he knows how to put an outfit together.
