If they are so sick they are bed ridden I'll bring them food if it's wanted but usually if someone is that sick they want to be left to sleep.
And if you're crowd sourcing your spouse's actions you aren't that sick. If you're well enough to be petty and get on the Internet you're well enough to sort out your own food and go to a party.

Takeout doesn’t have to be unhealthy food. I know people who eat far more unhealthy cooked from scratch dishes than some restaurant meals.
