My wide leg pants are studio pants with a drawstring hem so I can pull it up for the plane if I am worried about touching the floor for some reason. Something like this-

I have a long maxi dress I wear with a cardigan. It feels like I'm wearing a blanket.

I'm in my 30s, but I've always worn compression socks on planes too.

Leggings, fitted T, and some type of jacket if I’m cold.

Are they? People seem pretty self-absorbed in my experience.

No bra and always a scarf to take away any attention to this

Wear whatever so you can exit the plane quickly in case of emergency.

If it's a long flight, I would not want wide-leg pants because it's hard to keep them from touching the toilet when you go to the tiny bathroom. Other than that, I agree with all of this. A scarf is nice to cover your eyes, if needed, to sleep or nap and can also keep you warm.

+1 I see so many women with wide leg loose pants, and I think, "ew. how do you keep them from touching the bathroom floor which is sticky with god knows what most of the time".

I wear yoga pants, but not too tight, a loose shirt, zipped hoodie, and trainers.

I wear cropped wide leg pants. They never touch the floor or toilet because I hold the bottoms up as I pull down the waist before I squat.

I don’t understand why adults dress in gym clothes when they fly yet criticize posters in Dcumlandia for looking like American tourists in Europe for wearing sneakers. Baffling.

We' e been over this a million times. Natural fibers (cashmere/merino/silk/linen) in cuts that are comfortable but do NOT touch the floor.

Wireless bra and comfortable underwear, leggings, long-sleeved shirt, socks, sneakers, cardigan, no jewelry, thick layer of face moisturizer.

How big are these pants you are seeing women in? I sometimes wear wide leg pants on plants but they aren't so big they'd pool on the floor of the bathroom. I have these and they are great in cold weather -- comfortable high waist, perfect length with sneakers, and a good weight: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FCFZGTYX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1&psc=1

They make no more contact with the floor than a pair of yoga pants would, they are just a bit thicker and fit more like pants than leggings.

I don't see women getting on planes in giant palazzo pants billowing around them.

Also no matter what I wear on the plane, I want to wash it afterward. I generally don't even use plane bathrooms unless I absolutely have to, but between a cab, the airport, and the plane, I just assume my clothes are dirty and germy by the time I reach my destination.

No one is confused. No one is looking at you. No one cares.

I just don’t worry about it and I carry on with my life suffering zero consequences.
