There are few things more annoying than a woman who is smug about her husband's job. Get a life, ladies.

This is how hate for a certain group starts on the internet. You don't know if what the poster said is actually true. Maybe it's largely true, but it landed differently when she said it. Maybe she tried to be nice, and said it awkwardly.

When you automatically think something is true (because you want it to be true, perhaps?) without looking for proof, and then run with it and spread it around... that's how you get division and resentment. Pretty soon PP and yourself and some others will find yourselves in a frame of mind to cheer if something bad happens to World Bank employees.

So maybe stop the train right here.
