Maybe. If cars are not obeying traffic laws or are driving recklessly around the school then yes, the school should remind kids that they need to be extra attentive to their own safety. If a kid mindlessly walked into oncoming traffic or tripped and fell into the road, then probably not. Nobody needs to be told “be careful so you don’t trip and fall in the road on a busy street”. That would just embarrass the kid further.
