For high academic get your SAT/ACT scores before 9/1 recruiting so have it as part of profile.Take is 2x and super score it. The first test gives you a baseline so you know where to target for improvement on 2nd test to hopefully have a good enough score to use foe recruiting. Another super easy way to standout and make call coaches recruting job easier with lax skill being equal. Coach will likely pick kid with higher grades/score if the lax abilities are pretty much the same.!

Just saying… although if someone takes an SAT really early, like their sophomore year before recruiting, and gets that score AND has really high grades and the rest of their profile is good, the admissions office/coach may not require them to take it again because they know they could increase their score, because they maybe haven’t had all the math.

If the school has an academic index and the coach expects that the score would improve, the coach definitely would ask the player to retake the test.

3.6 and 1360 for Ivies?

I know players that got likely letters and others that did not who all got in so don't sweat it. There is still a risk of not getting in if you do something stupid before the admissions release date. Otherwise if you keep your grades up and stay out of trouble it is all good. Generally having to do an interview or not is not indicative of anything either unless your coach let's you know that the interview is sussing out something questionable in your admissions process. Many coaches want to chat with you before any interviews to give you pointers as well, everyone benefits from a smooth process!

So what happens after you get the likely letter? Is this pretty much a done deal or there’s still a risk of not getting in?

Good luck with that - all of 'em need to work on that fully-formed frontal lobe
