My non-black kid can't go as Michael Jordan?

Nobody gonna stop little Timmy. Just don't run for office one day unless you are a Democrat in VA running for Governor.

My 9yo insisited on getting one like this (not this exact costume but similar) and I have no idea how he's going to actually walk around trick or treating in it! It seems so awkward to me. I warned him, not much else I can do lol. They don't dress up at school so that's not an issue.

No. This would be highly offensive.

Yes they can. Wear their jersey and carry a ball. Don't do makeup or a wig.

"Cute" ones are only for kids under 5 ish. At that age he will want scary. A mask is a simple way. Tell him a budget and have him look online for masks and stuff.

Mine will probably go as a cheeseburger and he is 9.

What an odd costume. Background?

We really like food?

The "cool" boys in my sons class are all going as bananas.
Mine is very stressed about this. He doesn't want to be a banana because thise boys don't talk to him, but he also doesn't want to be anything that will be mocked. If Halloween was just ToT this wouldn't be a big deal but the school aspect makes it so.

Mine asked to go as a taco or banana. Spotty kid who has gone as various players in the past. Also we have done scary and won a costume contest so he mentioned that. He went as a shark bitten surfer.
