This happened on my way to work when one of the drivers right next to me intentionally making their car loud just because it sounds cool from what I guess.

Manual transmission has nothing to do with this. Usually it’s due to aftermarket exhaust that is intentionally loud. It’s also not on a specific type of vehicle. It can be a sedan, coupe, suv, huge pickup truck or motorcycle.
