Epigenetic vs genetic. If Tylenol worsened the autistic symptoms in some children because their mother was encouraged to take as much Tylenol as they wanted during fetal brain stem development, that doesnt mean anyone is a bad mother. It means the pediatrician associations that are supposed to make good decisions, have a very long history of making very flawed ones.

DP. This is full of misinformation. The studies about leucovorin have preceded Trump by decades. There are so many things to be worried about with Trump but this is not the hill to die on. I think the biggest risk is how they handle health data for people with disabilities.

Do you think it's weird that with the increased rate of autism since 2005 when they changed the DSM, that no administration pushed to have autism screening? Its been 20 years and absolutely nothing related to autism care has changed. Children are screened for scoliosis and eye glasses but not autism? That's pretty anti-science.

Not mthfr. Its an autoimmune condition called folate receptor alpha auto antibodies. This is one of the major causes of cerebral folate deficiency.

There are 2 variants along the mthfr gene that can cause clinically significant folate deficiency, but the treatment for that is generally just 5mthfr, or methylfolate.

Water soluble vitamins are not toxic.

Folate deficiency has also been studied as having a role in EDS. This is a genetic thing, much like the findings in autism. Nothing to do with Tylenol.

I’m with you on the latter point, and will meet with skepticism everything this administration does. I think RFK Jr is a loon and a narcissist, and that he’s wrong about vaccines. And I think at his best he speaks in absolutes about things that are much, much more complex than that.

But all that said, I did find some peer reviewed studies about folate deficiency and improvements in autism symptoms. Can’t cite them offhand but I kept a running list on my home computer and I’ll try to post them later.
