Good list, but these are all super-selective. Not to derail, but any suggestions for targets and safeties that are strong in Public Policy?

Or bags he consider Ed elsewhere. Pub pol, Econ, finance. Shud be consider Penn instead. Knows ist high reach
This isn't very useful without SAT scores.
Though Duke is still test-optional, I think about 75% of admitted students have submitted scores.
Current speculation is that Duke is staying test-optional primarily to give admissions more flexibility with hooked candidates. Unhooked should have at least a 1510 to hit the middle 50% range (1510-1560).

He didn't get in ED or RD? With those stats, I'm sure he had lots of great options.
Did not get in ED. Deferred then rejected. Was disappointed but happy now with how it all worked out.
Where did he go instead?

Take a look at some Duke applicants:

I tend to find the school data to be pretty useless because there is so often a story.
School data from FCPS is pretty worthless. The sample size is too small and the acceptances are a bit unpredictable.
That is my experience as well. Yet the default DCUM post is "check the data". It is worth checking but I wouldn't count on much unless you are applying to state flagship from in-state or something like that.
