Trump criticizes Pam Bondi for not charging his adversaries quickly enough, in a Truth Social post that looks a lot like a DM.
This will pretty much kill ANY case the DOJ tried to bring against any political opponent.

Will she go forward with charging James?
It won't matter, no grand jury will prosecute James.
It matters. This is an important position. It would be good to have someone with integrity in it.

This unprincipled, mendacious POS is now claiming that he fired Siebert when he "suddenly" found out--FIVE MONTHS LATER--that Siebert was nominated by the two VA senators, who happen to be Dems. He NEVER takes responsibility for anything. He ALWAYS blames it on someone else.
Siebert is a Republican. He received Republican support for his nomination. His nomination was advanced by Senate Republicans, including Chairman Chuck Grassley of the Judiciary Committee, who pushed for its confirmation despite Democratic blocks. Additionally, key Republicans on Capitol Hill and Trump administration officials advocated to retain Siebert amid White House pressure for his removal. ABC reported he had the support of the Youngkin administration. And, as stated above, he was nominated by Trump and WH officials had praised his efforts on immigration enforcement and other Trump admin policies. He was liked by both sides.

They may never even get one since the evidence seems so weak. She apparently clearly disclosed this was a second home on multiple documents, all of the people at the mortgage company said they knew it was a second home and they are relying on one line a pre-printed power of attorney.

The anticipated departure of Siebert, who Trump nominated for his position in May, has thrown one of the country's most prominent prosecutor's offices into disarray, with the Trump administration so far unable to identify a viable successor to take over the sensitive position, sources familiar with the matter said.
Maya Song, the office's First Assistant United States Attorney, is the next person in the office's line of succession, but senior DOJ and administration officials have discussed plans to dismiss her from her role, sources said. Song, a career prosecutor who joined the office in 2013, has served as the office's No. 2 prosecutor since last October. Song also previously served in former Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco's office during the Biden administration.
So they're going to fire someone nominated by Trump, don't have a replacement yet (even if they did, it would have to be someone who is MAGA and who will know they HAVE to find some wrongdoing on the part of James to keep the job), and they will not consider the next person in line as a successor. Her name is Maya Song--so I'm guessing they'll say she was originally a DEI hire.
