Yeah maybe 10:00/10:30 isn’t realistic for most kids, but he’s a kid who needs a lot of sleep. He fell asleep in his first class this week!


I feel for your kid. My middle schooler with ADHD also needs a lot of sleep and will seem fine until he suddenly just crashes and he's too tired to do anything.
If the other suggestions made on this thread don't help, you may want to get him tested for sleep apnea. His tiredness might also be the result of just not getting quality sleep as I think kids with ADHD sometimes are restless sleepers.

I’m the poster with a 2e child at a Catholic high school. You might want to discuss this problem with your child’s doctor. My child’s doctor was able to adjust DC’s medication so that it lasts through homework.


Yeah I added that to my list. We just had an appt but it was earlier in the year. We probably need to revisit
